Lanun is currently in development, but the following features are either planned for inclusion or already completed:

  • Point-and-click interface to navigate environment and interact with objects
  • Directional attacks based on mouse position, with attacks controlled through double-click or space bar
  • "Target Path Node" system to allow Flash-friendly path finding
  • User interface that includes inventory, pause and health meter, gunpowder and other game functions
  • Event-based level design
  • Lighting and particle affects
  • Enemy AI includes three separate group actions: Wander, Approach and Attack
  • Scripted sequences for enemy AI
  • Sound objects played on command
